Aug. 14, 1784, showing property worth 2500 pounds, including 27
slaves. After selling out in VA., he bought 700 acres in S.C.
between the Congaree and the Wateree rivers. After he died, his
estate was paid for supplies he furnished the Revolutionary
Militia.(Sallies Stub Indents, P. 292). William married in
Virginia to Lucy Wyche, d/o Peter Wyche. (An ancient and
Illustrious Family.). William was appointed guardian of his
sister-in-law Ann Wyche in 1765.
