Note: NOTE:I was told that William was killed in the Civil War. The
directory of confederate soldiers from Tennessee during the
Civil War lists the following:
REEVES, William T. - Pvt. 48th (Voorhies') Inf.
The middle initial 'T' may have stood for TITMAN (his mothers
maiden name). The 'T' may have been for Thomas. After his
Uncle Thomas Irving Reeves. I don't think this is him.
I also found a microfilm record for a W. L. Reeves who enlisted
on March 10, 1862 in Trenton, TN. He joined Co. B of the 47th
Infantry under Major Patterson. The record says he died on
Aug. 1, 1862 in the Tupelo, MS hospital.
Event: Date: FROM 10 MAR 1862 TO 01 AUG 1862
Place: Trenton, Gibson, Tennessee
